Got Electric Quilt 8?
Would you like to learn how to use it?
Want to preview fabrics in your quilt design before cutting them?
Want to resize your blocks without having to do the math?
Want to rotate your blocks and try different settings before starting the quilt?
Want to print out a list of the exact yardage you’ll need for your quilt?
Would you like to print out templates, rotary cutting instructions or foundation piecing instructions for your blocks?
If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, you want to take Reed’s one-day class on the basics of Electric Quilt 8.
In the morning, you learn the basic functions of Electric Quilt 8.
In the afternoon, put your new knowledge into practice as you recreate Blue Bear’s “In the Jungle Quilt” in Electric Quilt 8 and print out fabric yardage and cutting instructions.
Before class, you can download a free version of the software onto your laptop computer for two weeks use. Then purchase the software if you want to continue using it. If time permits, we will continue exploring more advanced features in EQ 8 such as creating many designs from one block, creating with Accuquilt dies, importing fabrics into EQ 8, and making a final practice quilt. If Blue Bear can do it, so can you!
